What is dandruff (project sample )
What is dandruff ( Project sample) • Dandruff is a widespread issue that affects the scalp, causing it to shed dead skin cells. It’s a type of long-term scalp inflammation called seborrheic dermatitis. While it mainly affects the scalp, it can also appear on other oily parts of the body, such as the face (particularly around the eyebrows, nose, and ears), chest, and back. • White or yellowish flakes that resemble dandruff can be seen on the scalp and may also be seen in the hair or on garments. These flakes can range from tiny, microscopic particles to bigger, more pronounced flakes in size and texture. Individual differences in dandruff intensity can cause some people to have mild flakes that are hardly evident while others may have more pronounced flakes that are clearly visible.
